If you are like most people, you have thought about how you want your estate to be distributed. You know that you need a will, but you don’t know where to start.

I work with you to create an estate plan that gives voice to your wishes, while ensuring that the process is efficient, convenient, and comfortable for you.

If you don’t have a will, or you want to make some changes to an existing will, I’m here to help. If you need a power of attorney for personal care or a power of attorney for property, those can be prepared in conjunction with your will, or separately.

Without a will, provincial law will dictate who benefits from your estate, and in what proportions. In addition, administration of your estate is likely to be more complicated and expensive, leaving less for those you care about.

Planning usually takes place over the phone or through virtual meetings. You can choose to sign your will during a virtual meeting, or at a time and place in Peterborough county or the GTA that is convenient for you.
